98 chrysler concorde battery light on?

a day after light came on the battery died, i removed the alternator and took it to get tested at autozone and it is good, got battery tested also and it was bad,i brought a new battery installed it and the battery light is still on, please help?

ps. a person told me that the alternator in my car has a regulator do you guys know anything about that?
 
Your alternator has a built in regulator,as do all alternators produced today. If the alternator was tested and passed,then your regulator should be working. However,on your vehicle it is the regulator that turns the battery light on.It is possible that the alternator is producing enough voltage when tested, to pass,but still have something wrong with the regulator. I would suspect the alternator is the cause of your problem.
