98 cadillac deville help needed...?

plugs and wires were changed yesterday. after a brief test drive, the car stalled after i returned. it started right back up, ran for about two minutes and stalled out again. i runs fine as long as i am driving it, but when i come to a stop it stalls. checked the vacuum hoses that were removed for plug installation and they are fine. put heet in the fuel line and cleaned out the throttle body. what else could this be? expert advice only please. thanks.
i got a diagnostic done yesterday and all it was giving was a stuck torque converter. However, there is not a problem with the transmission, so i am assuming there must be a bad sensor in the transmission that is not affecting its performance.
 
you need to have the computer scanned and see what codes it is blowing... that would be the proper way to go about it, instead of stabbing int he dark and hoping for the best...
