First it seems like my tranny was going and then it works great. I was driving on the innerstate and it would not shift correctly in to overdrive and was jumping in and out of 4 and 5 at 2 thousand rpms about 65 mph. My reverse mirrors will activate in Park and in drive, while im driving or just sitting in park, but not in reverse. And now they are working correctly, ?. I have changed the tranny fluid and filter, thinking it was and fluid issue when the tranny wasnt shifting in to overdrive. The other day i was driving and it would not go out of 2nd gear and felt as if it was slipping in to neutral, so i parked it, started it up the next day and it drove great with no problems. The reverse mirrors are working only in reverse and no shifting problems. Im sure its a sensor problem but i would like to know some opinions. I have a 1997 Licoln Contenintal with 112k miles on it. I think it is the Mlp sensor or the TR senor, but im not sure.
