97 honda accord will just die while it is moving why does it do that?

my 97 honda accord at times won't start it acts like it is out of gas or like it is flooding out eventually it will start and then it finally starts and driving along and it will quit again without coming to a stop everything shuts down i have to coast to stop and restart what is wrong?
 
Check the fuel pump , fuel filter and fuel injection. Could be any one of them. Good luck
 
It sounds like your fuel pump is going out. Either due to a bad unit, or bad wiring. If it is the fuel delivery system, it would probably be due to a short circuit in the wires. that would cause fuel to stop going to the engine at random times. I'm no expert mechanic but this could explain it.
