I test drove a 97 Honda Accord the other day. It has 136,000 miles on it and has had two owners. Both of which a buddy of mine knows. It's in great condition but the owner told us about a knocking noise. We test drove it and you have to pay attention to it but can hear the knocking noise while in park.
I'm sure this could be several different things, but what?
He's selling it to me for $2,000 and I don't want to pass this up unless it's going to be a big issue. I recently got hit during a snow storm and my car is driveable (95 Toyota Camry - 180,000 Miles on the body - Around 100,000 Miles on the engine)
Buy it? What could be the problem?
