97 ford explorer a/c help?

My a/c clutch is spinning and i just put in a bottle of r132a freon, and it is still blowing hot...... I am wondering if the switch inside the car isnt working, cause i moved it to hot and switched it off max a/c and the clutch is still working, has anyone else had this problem or could help me thanks
