97 dodge dakota clicking sound?

when i take the key out when im done driving a clicking sound on the passenger side from under the dash starts and i cant figure out why im thinking it has to be an electrical problem because the clicking stops when i turn the interior lights on and starts up when they go off and when i put the key in the ignition it stops. the clicking sound drains the battery down if i let it sit for a while

i had the same problem with my jeep,there should be a fuse panel on the passenger side under the dash,look in the owners manuel and pull the fuse for the interior light.i still have yet to solve the problem,so i just leave it out.

It should be the fuel solenoid is burning out. You can feel which one it is. And hear it also.
