'97 Chevy Lumina stalls every once in a while when I start it and begin drivng.?

I have a '97 Chevy Lumina which has been experiencing problems. Every once in a while, when I start it and begin driving, it will stall. When I try to start it back up again, it will start, but then will die almost immediately. This only happens every once in a while. Other times, the car runs fine. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be or where the best place to start would be?
