97 Chevy Blazer torsion bar help?

I have a 97 chevy blazer, 4dr, 4x4, with the independent front suspension that has the torsion bars on each side. Now before I started messing with them, it tracked just fine in a straight line down the road, but the right side of the truck sat about 3/4 in. to 1in. lower than the left side. So, I adjusted the right side up to meet the left and even it out, and to get the front even with the back because it sat so much lower than the back. So I adjusted it to the same height as the left, but I only measured from the top of the fender well opening, not the frame like I later found out I should have. So I noticed when I drove it after adjusting that the suspension was 3x better, but now it pulls really bad to the left, but the suspension is where it should be, and the left and right sides are now even in ground clearance. My question is shouldn't the torsion bars be the same adjustment right and left no matter what? Because mine wasn't, but it tracked straight just fine, until I adjusted them right and now it pulls left. Do you think they were adjusted different to compensate for the pull the left just so it would go straight? The dealership that owned it before me that is. I'm thinking it's where it needs to be, but it just really needs the front end aligned and tightened up. Any advice is much appreciated. Thank you!!
