i bought a 96 pontiac sunfire about 1 month ago. the car runs great. no overheating problems or anything so far. when i bought the car it would steam from under the hood(not a lot of steam but some) and the antifreeze light was on so i put some in to fill it. i took it to a mechanic and he said he couldnt find anything wrong and that i should keep an eye on it. well the problem stopped for the past two weeks. now its acting up again. it wont at first when im driving but when i go to park it it steams from under the hood some. sometimes when i had the car shut off and parked it would steam some from the exhaust pipe as well. any ideas? comments? help from someone who knows?
