Whenever I open the door, the interior lights will flash and there will be a clicking noise (as if the turn signal were on). After the door has been closed, it will continue for a minute or two. I read somewhere that it may mean there is a short. Is that true? :\ Is there a way to fix it, hopefully without taking it to a mechanic or something? If it helps, my father is a mechanical engineer.
