I have a 96 mercury mystique, love the car, but lately when I sit at a redlight, it will start running, hot. Now, when I say hot I mean it was go from the 'r~ in normal to almost the 'L' and I have to turn the heater/defroster or start going for it to go back down. We just changed the thermostat. Could it be that the store gave us the wrong one? They told us the cars call for one that opens at 195, but one that opens at 180 would fit. Would that work?
