Whenever im driving and my RPMS go higher than 2 i start to hear a ticking noise from the enigine and my check engine light is on, but the check engine light has been on for about 4 days and just yest. is when it started to make the ticking noise. it makes the noise while i drive or in park and i rev it up a little bit.
any answers please let me know thanks.
oil is fine i just topped it off about a week ago and checked it again lastnite.
the noise produces like i said around only 2 RPM and higher but gets bad around 3 RPM. anything lower it sounds normal and fine. Car runs just fine just makes this noise for some reason, new pistons have been put in last year. pretty much the engine was rebuilt last year, and has run good ever sence. and still runs good now, just makes this noise
