96 Honda accord sedan 60k wont start. Replaced the starter 5 months ago, car ran fine. Yesterday after running several errands the car suddenly stopped starting. I was able to jump start it and once running checked the alternator with volt meter it's putting out 14.2 volts so its running fine. Checked the battery cold its putting out 12.3 volts. Ignition switch looks good and all other fuzes look just fine. When you turn the key sometimes it clicks and all electricals come on, other times absolutely nothing happens no lights noise just a door ajar sound after a second or two. I took the battery out of my 94 accord which is a little bigger than the battery in the 96 and tried but got absolutely nothing not even a click. However when I put the original battery back in the 96 and tried the car started right up! I let it run 5 minutes, turned it off, let it sit 2 minutes then tried again and got lights and electrical and clicking but no start! What the hell could this be, just a junk battery or something worse?
