my escort idles high but after idling for a little bit the car goes to normal i took it to a mechanic and was told the idle air controller is bad i bought a new one and was told that one is faulty because it makes my car idle at 4000, but i have got 2 more sense all doing the same. only the new one goes to a steady 4000 and the old one goes high and lowers. any ideas? also its a 96 but 1/2 the parts i buy for a 96 do not fit and i have to get the one for a 95 for the part to match up......
