i have a 1996 dodge neon that is getting no spark and no fuel pressure. All the fuses are good. I suspect that it is a bad computer, however when i go ask the junkyard or auto parts store they need to know if the computer has the "competition package". I do not know how to tell if my car has this or not. The computers part number is R5269939. Does anyone know how to determine if this has the competition package? Are there any other things that could cause no fuel/no spark?
It is SOHC, however the competition package is available for both the DOHC and the SOHC. Is there a way to check the codes with a key on off on off on? It is hard to take it to autozone when it doesent move on its own.
the cam sensor was changed recently.
the fault codes are:
12 Battery Disconnected
55 Fault Display Complete
is it still possible that the computer is bad since it dosent show the pcm failure code.
