...voltages from the o2 sensor? This car has had this problem for a while, so we mostly just dealt with it. Sometimes though after running for a long time when you turn it off then start it again shortly after it will sputter and quit. This is because its getting too much air and not enough gas ( i think ).

It never sounds like its running perfectly. Anyway Ill get to the details.

If you uplug the battery or clear the mil light it will run fine for a few days then the mil light will turn back on with these codes

-- trouble codes --
p0300,p0302,p0304,p0306
So thats random misfire, and cyl 2,4 & 6 misfire. So only on one side the misfires are occurring, the plugs are fine.

-- running lean --
short term Bank 1 - 3.9 to -7%
long term Bank 1 - always 14.8%
short term Bank 2 - between -1 and -8%
Long term Bank 2 - between -1 and -2%
All these were taken in idle, the one that sticks out is the 14.8% its the only non negative value and its the only one that is so far from lambda

-- O2 sensors --
bank 1 sensor 1 0.060V 2.3%
bank 1 sensor 2 0.680V 99.2%
bank 2 sensor 1 0.665V 0.8%
So, it looks like bank1 sensor 2 is reading values that are much larger in % than the other values.

-- my conclusion --
I am by no means a mechanic, all my conclusions are based off help and stuff i've read off the net. And my final conclusion will be dependent on the answers here at yahoo. If im totally wrong please let me know !

Im thinking the O2 sensor at bank 1 sensor 2 is malfunctioning, it has never been replaced. Im not sure how to test them. Does anyone else have some ideas ? Thanks in advance
