I replaced the fuel pump and checked the reset switch in the trunk.
The crazy part is i have power to the pump at the pigtail when its unplugged, but none when i plug it in.
I ran a jumper wire (power not ground) to the harness from the battery and the car starts and runs, so i know the other engine sensors work
because its a lincoln the wiring is crazy, i know power runs through a constant control relay module at the radiator and a fuel pump module in the trunk, but i cant find a good wiring diagram even from the local ford dealer.
Any help would be great, otherwise im getting full coverage and setting it on fire!!!, just kidding

Thanks,
Tom
the fuel pump and sending unit comes as an assembly, there are 4 wires power and ground to the pump and power and ground to the float.

first did you rplace teh fuel pump or the sending unit. you might a wire off where the fuel pump hooks to the sending unit.
