I had the trans rebuilt in 2/2007 at 136000 miles. The van now has 196000 miles and is having what I think may be trans problems. It started 2 days ago, the trans wouldnt switch in 3rd gear. I was stuck 60 miles away from home. When I got on the highway it eventually kicked into 3rd gear and ws ok. When I went out the same day to make errands the problem came back. Yesterday I started the vehicle and it worked fine until the engine warmed up and started to pull and switch into 3rd gear. I drove it this morning and it acted fine. But now it wont leave 1st gear. the most i can go is 25-30mph. Last Thursday I had my plugs and wires replaced, an oil change, and flex pipe on the exhaust changed. The transmissions issues did not exsist before then. I properly filled the fluid up and the problem is still exisiting.
