95 dodge neon wont start.?

my 95 dodge neon wont start. its not my fuel pump i tried that. when you turn the ignition, it wont start. an sometimes when it does start it stay running for about 10 minutes then stops. battery is fine. were looking to see why it wont stay running and wont start sometimes. looking to fix the cheapests parts first. when you explain please use dumb terms. im a girl and dont know much.
 
Sounds like it could be the alternator/ terminal cables/battery/starter since it wont start, you already checked the fuel pump..or the mass air flow sensor/ or the idle speed control sensor which is why it could be dying after seconds from starting
