95 dodge avenger hesitation?

Why would my 95 dodge avenger manual transmission serge and hesitate in 4th and 5th gear. apon acceleration....also i thought it could be my crank shaft sensor and there was oil in it so could that be why it jerks..in the morning i turn the car on then it will die..then i can turn it back on....help please!!

have the computer scanned on it before you just go out and start buying parts for it this way you,ll know what it is before hand,if you don't do the scan you can spend a whole lot of money on parts you think you need and really don't,a bad throttle position sensor of weak fuel pump will cause the same thing yours is doing also,but don't go buy nothing until the scan is ran on it and you know for sure,you might also want to run a pressure test on the fuel system also,good luck.
