So I just purchased a truck that has 237000 miles on it..it has it's problems but all can be fixed with tlc, that's why I bought it. The guy I bought it from said the 4wheel drive stopped working one day while plowing snow and the heater came on(or something like that) but I tried the 4 wheel drive the other day and it worked after a second pull to the shifter and then only worked for a few seconds...now my tachometer and speedometer work 1/2 the time...sometimes while driving they'll just turn or they'll work at start up.. I haven't tried the 4wheel drive since..I recently tried the heater and it only worked on high..then shut off and wouldn't work at all(low, high, anything) but that TOO works occasionally(at start up or it'll turn on while driving), then this morning i tried the wipers and they worked fine until half way to college..then they only worked on high or not at all(only working once at a lower speed setting, then only high again), the lights in the cab won't come on when a door is opened but will work when the dimmer dial is moved to the upper on position.....so any suggestions? wrong fuses? bad ground to battery? bad computer? wire shorting out somewhere? any suggestions could help at solving this mess, thanks!
