95 cadillac sedan deville with tapping lifter (should i buy for $1000)?

there is a 95 cadillac sedan deville for $1000 and i test drove it and it ran real good but it has a lifter tapping the car needs some interior work but body is good and like i said it drove good except the tapping lifter so should i buy it for $1000 or just let it go
