I am a college student looking for a car, and I was talking to a customer at work and she told me she was selling her mom's 94 toyota corolla with only 62,000 miles on it for 2500. I went to go see it the next day and she told me how her mom (she's about 80 now) bought it brand new in 94 and only used it to go around the neighborhood. I had my friend's dad who is a mechanic take a look at it/drove it and said there was nothing wrong with it, and it was in good shape. I also checked carfax it and it seems like it wasn't in any accidents at all. Some people are telling me I should save and get a newer car. I'm not a car expert and I'm not sure if this I should take this car, or save my money for a newer model.
