94' RF900 Ignition cutting out

I have a 94' RF900 with ~31k miles on it.

My issued started on the Hi-way when attempting to pass a semi I gave it some gas and as I hit 90mph getting around the truck my bike shut down and then started back up again, as if I had flipped the kill switch off and then back on again, but I hadn't touched the switch.

This continued to happen however at the time only in 5th gear when reaching 90mph.

Next time I rode the bike the it started doing this mostly at the same place, however started doing it in other places randomly as well.

Anyone ever had this problem before or can give me any suggestion on where I might start the searching process...

Thanks in advance

My first advise is: Stop going 90 mph; it's not safe, even on a bike that is running right!

Intermittant problems are a real (female dog).

My first and only guess (since I don't know your particular bike) is that some electrical connection is loose and fails with high vibration or lots of wind.
Start with the main battery cables, both at the battery and the other end.

My doing 90mph is not a constant practice, solely to get around semi trucks quickly! I hate, even in a car hanging out on the side of a truck any longer than I have to.

Thanks for the tips. The search starts tonight after work, what a way to spend friday evening.
