Ok here goes.... I have a 94 mazda 626 lx with an automatic trany, and I have done alot of work and research on these cars. The car was given to my wife and I as a wedding present, then the hold light came on and off, then to follow eratic shifting, with slippage. Now Ive taken it to several trany shops and they want to charge me 1400$ to fix it and they just want to replace the trany, now I have done homework on this and every forum says that its an electrical problem. if this is the case do I still replace the trany or is there a sensor out? and if it is a sensor where is it located and what does it look like? thanks alot any help would be appreciated.
