My accord over heated, I changed the thermostat. It cranks but won't turn over. the spark plug ends are coated with oil and the #2 plug smells of gas. What have I done and how do I fix it?
you need to check if the spark plugs are getting spark. if they are see if you got fuel pressure if you do check timing belt.
If all checks out O.K. then pull all spark plugs and check for compression. maybe the head cracked or head gasket is bad and theirs no compression to start. I doubt it unless you over heated it alot. for long time.
