My 1994 Ford Taurus is leaking antifreeze bad. All of the antifreeze has leaked out and if I put water in the radiator it just pours out somewhere near the water pump. I'm not sure if it's the water pump or something else, the alternator gets in the way from seeing down there from the top and the crankshaft is in the way from the bottom. Has anyone else had this problem? I don't want to take out the alternator and stuff if it's not the water pump. The serpentine belt is a pain to put back on. Could it be something other than the water pump?
Would the water flow out quickly if it was just the thermostat?
