94 ford explorer questions?

I have a 94 ford explorer, and a few questions. I just went to clean my MAS with MAS cleaner. The MAS is really dirty. I used almost the whole can on it and it is still a little dirty (not as bad) I was wondering if it will hurt the MAS to soak it in the cleaner over night? Also, I took off the air intake tube and found oil in it. I felt the tube connected to it going to the oil fill cap, it was bone dry, I even put a Q-tip in it and it came out dry but the intake tube had oil in it probably about an ounce or so maybe less? Any ideas what causes this?
 
Hello, You should chech your pcv valve but other wise This is usually caused by a tired engine (high miles) I gess is called blow by and is caused by weak piston rings. I hope this info. is helpful. Good Luck!
