1994 Ford Escort Runs very Rough, Why?
I have a 94 Ford Escort with well over 400000 KM and is solid. I'd buy something else but fixing it is the only option I have.
I can start the car easy but when in P,R,N,D,2,1 it runs terrible and this always happens, however once the car reaches about 1000RPM it levels out and runs very smoothly, but the moment it goes below it starts shaking and running rough.
The car drive but I'm terrified it'll stall at a stop sign or stop light and don't feel safe driving it like this.
All the plugs and wires are new, and the EGR valve was replaced a while ago. I think it may be a sensor, but I really don't know. I could fix it if I knew where to start.
Any help would be great.
