I have a 94 ford e350 box truck with a 7.3 or 7.5 v8, truck died one day and wasn't getting fuel. Replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter and now the truck will run great till it gets warm then it will bog like crazy and have no power to move. Also makes popping noises out of the intake. Took it to a mechanic and he said the fuel pump is clogged but i dont think so. The motor seams like its getting so hot that i think maybe the fuel lines over the motor are getting too hot and boiling the fuel. But it does not overheat from what the guage says and it doesnt boil the coolant but my right foot seems on fire next to the engine.

What can cause this i was thinking maybe running to rich but idk thats why im here. Help me out i need this truck running asap!
it is fuel injected not carburated

Your carb needs adjusting to stop the popping "coughing" and i think its running pretty rich on fuel oh and i would check that coolant gauge just to make sure its not lying to you.
