please some one help i dont know shit about cars i just bought a 94 cadillac eldarado with 89,000 miles the question is after driving for about 20 miles i parked at home 30 minuites later i went to start it and i had to turn the key over for like 7 seconds before it finially started and just as it started i heard a pop or minor explosion coming from the engine compartment then as i was driving it started to miss and put and then the engine shut off in only 3 blocks of driving i took it to the machanic he said it was a intake manifold gasket leak and that i had to replace my intake manifold gasket the symptoms that i described does that sound like it would be a leaky intake manifold gasket??
