I have A Grand Am Engine Type: L4 2.3 Liter FI 138 CID - SOHC I replace the plugs, but the problem still remains, So Im looking to replace the ignition coil, Can somebody tell me where its located, is it the plastic piece that sits above the plugs with four inlets because im not sure, if it is, Are their two coils inside this housing or just one? And how do I remove the coil.

If the ignition coil & the plugs both end up not being the reason the engine was misfiring, What else could it be?? is there another common issue that should be checked first, before I take it to A shop? Thank You!

The coil cover is a 99% fix. Very unlikely a faulty coil, not that they don't fail, but the coil covers are known for shorting out.

2 coils, take it apart you will see, also replace the connectors (from coils to plugs). If not the problem, check fuel injector of the misfiring cylinder, then compression of same.

Yes the coil pack, or packs are the ones under that plastic piece you remove to get to the plugs. If that doesn't solve the problem, then possibly try the crank position sensor.
