I was in an accident a few days ago, and my car was totaled in a horrible fender bender. I'm looking to get a 93 Del Sol, but I'm very worried about how safe it is. I heard it feels very light, which makes me concerned about driving it in the rain and how it would stand up to another fender bender (or worse). My old car was a 91 Acura Integra RS, and I came out of that accident with several bruises, but nothing broken (the kid who hit me was okay), and it didn't have airbags... So, should I be worried? Or is this a good car? I just don't want this to happen again. That was the scariest thing that ever happened to me. 
I wanna make sure if it happens again (God forbid), I'll come out alive.
