93 cadillac seville 4.9L idle problems?

basically the problems i have is the idle on my cadillac acts in reverse of what it should. when the engine it cold, the RPMs are at normal operation around 650/700. then after i drive for a few minutes, when the idle SHOULD drop since the engine is warm, instead goes up to about 1100/1200. now if i get out and tap on the idle control motor, it will drop back down until i drive some more, then go back up. ive replaced the idle control motor NUMEROUS times, done the distributer and all internal sensors, etc. does anyone have any idea what would make it operate opposite of the way its suppose to? perhaps a sensor i havent considered? thanks
