Water pump, radiator and hoses are ok. Someone said the heater core is the problem. If so is it costly and difficult to replace. coolent appears to come out the condensate drain.

Here are some things to check

1. If the car runs hot it could be water pump, thermostat.
2. check to see if you have water in oil by pulling the dip stick out if it a milky color then your head gasket is bad.
3 heater core get car at normal running tempature turn the heater on full. If you can smell coolent then your heater core is bad. To replace is not that hadr depending on the car You can do it yourself would require a shop book on your year car and a few hand tools.

first of all is your car a 3.1 or 3.8 liter v6 the next you need to do is check for any wetness inside the car if there isnt and your heater works it a good idea to check your upper and lower intakes thats were a lot of cooliant leaks on gm v6s stem from 90% of the time hope this helps i had a 95 regal the same thing happend to me and it turned out to be my lower intake im also a auto tech so that would be what i would check if i were you

If you have coolant coming out of this drain, you definitely have a heater core problem.

The heater core itself is not very expensive. Maybe around $50. It is the labor that is going to be expensive.

I swear, every time I changed one of these, they took a heater core and built a car around it.

There is a lot of dis-assembly required under the dash in very cramped quarters. Some installations also require that the engine is disconnected from the motor mounts and rocked forward to access the parts of the heater located on the firewall.

I would figure on at least $250 for the labor. Call around and get some estimates from some reputable local mechanics.
