fuel,worse up hills,security lite on? My 1993 Buick Lasabre is having problems. It stalls when the gas gets to about a half tank...usually when I am coming to a stop and it tends to idle low. If I have been driving for a while it will act as if it is not getting gas and lurch forward...I can floor the gas peddle and it wont want to go...if I pump the gas peddle it will move ahead...but reluctently. Once it starts acting up it will barely drive up a hill. Meaning it is worse when driving up hills. But then it will drive normal sometimes. I don't drive very often and at first it only did this when I was in the mountains on a road trip. But now it is doing it more often after only driving it for a half hour or so. A full tank of gas seems to help the problem. Also...the security light is on. I am thinking it has to do with the fuel pump..fuel injecter..fuel lines..something. Is this a common problem for Buicks? How much does it usually cost to fix? Is it something I can fix on my own?
