The car starts fine but when you put it in drive and tap the gas pedal it stays accelerated. It slowly builds up speed on its own. At a stop the RPM are at 1500, if I put it in neutral RPM's go up to like 2500rpm's then they go back to normal. When the check engine light goes off the rpm's go slightly down then it drives ok.
Also, the radiator fans don't turn on so temperature gauge goes up and down. I disconnected the tps sensor and the accelerating stopped, car drives fine but the temp is still going up and down.
Replaced the tps sensor, thermostat, and the temp switch thats on the same spot. Also, checked egr valve. It seemed to be working the pump went up and down.
After all that the car still accelerates on its own after you put it in drive and temp still goes up and down but not as hot as before.
