'92 Honda Prelude Problem: AC belt making squealing noises?

The AC belt is making squealing sounds when the AC is on. When the AC is off though, no sound is emitted. I tried to tighten the belt, but it didn't work. I noticed that when the AC is on the compressor seems to be running faster than the engine's RPM. I think it might be a sensor problem. From the sensor that controls the engine's RPM when the AC is on. Any help?
