92 Honda Prelude or 97 Eclipse Gs-T Which is Better?

I want to buy a new car and well i can decide both cars look so nice and both are fast but which one would be the best to get i like racing but i would rather have a reliable car rather than a fast car, so what do you think which one would be more reliable but would be also fast i can going to spend money on the car in performance and looks but as far as stock goes i have read that the eclipse have bad motors problems from time to time and honda run for virtually ever...but hondas are heavy compared to eclipses which i dont like but insurance wise eclipse are ******* expensive on that, i like both cars very much but i just cant decide so please help me i can buy 1 or the other like right now but i cant decide on which would be a better car for me...
i can get the prelude for around 3k and the gs-t for 4k forgot to add that in there
 
id go with the eclipse. insurance is going to be more expensive bc its turbo but a 92 honda is coming up on 18 years old and no telling how many miles. As far as brands, i like honda better, my step dad had a 86 honda that hit 300K miles before he sold it. Mitsubishi is what I drive and i love it. And i think the mitsu would look nicer than the old prelude
