I have a 92 honda accord lx automatic, when trying to start the car it will spin over fast but no crank , I have replaced main relay , battery the car has sat up for about 5yrs I also have drained the gas tank put in new gas but still will not crank how do i check to ensure the fuel pump is getting power?

No Crank? Is the engine turning over or not?Is it just the starter spinning? If the starter is engaging and the engine spins fast, sounds like the timing belt is gone.Pull the valve cover and check the drive gear to the cam.You should be able to see the belt at the top of the pulley. If it isn't there the belt is laying at the bottom of the timing cover, broken. If the starter isn't engaging the flywheel, replace the starter.Any time a car sits for a long time, bad things happen.Oil turns to jelly, gasoline go's flat and turns to varnish etc.Rubber decomposes and becomes brittle,Replace all belts and radiator hoses, they are worthless now and not reliable.Good luck
