I just bought a 1992 Honda accord manual . One issued that the engine has is that the idling goes up and down. Then out of nowhere my car now it is slow at driving.each shift is slow. The highest I could drive is like 35 mph but it takes a while to get up there and when I get to a hill it doesn't have the power to keep going, I have to drive it slow on first gear. The one thing I know I need to change is the thermostat because the radiator hose keeps swelling up. What you think the problem could be. The gears go in good, while parked on a hill and on first gear it holds so I know its not a transmission probkem. And out the exhaust a weird sound comes out like a hizzin noise. Could it be bad air flow out the exhaust. While parked and I rev it , it only goes to like 3,000 rpm and then it hits like a block off, I tried reseting ecu but nothing still.
