My girlfirend has a 92 Lebaron. It was running rough so I changed spark plugs and distributor cap and rotor. the engine fired right up and purred like a little kitten. Later that night we went to go home in the car and it wouldn't start. I grabbed a can of startting fluid to help it fire and it started right up. My thoughts are it is time time to replace manifold gaskets and also clean up the throttle body and put it back together. It seemed like the throttle was sticking in the closed position. What are your oppinions after all the car has 200,000 + miles.

A leaking intake manifold gasket may cause a high engine idle, unlikely it would cause a low, idle or no start. Start by cleaning the AIS passage, and looking at the EGR valve for a sticking open condition, this may cause a hard start, and by dislodging some carbon while doing sparkplugs, it may have stuck under the pintel valve causing a large vacuum leak.
Also try pulling / and recording diagnostic codes and then clear them. See if they return (if any are present).
