I have a 1992 Dodge Spirit with only 55,000 miles. Recently, I began to notice a vibration/or friction noise beneath my feet whenever I turn the steering to the left. The vibration is not very loud or intense, but it occurs whenever I turn the wheel to the left (no matter how little I turn it). It's most pronounced at highway speeds, but it can also be felt when I drive at lower speeds as well. At my last service the mechanic mentioned a leaking "right inner CV boot." Could this be the cause of the noise, or is it an issue of tire balancing. The noise doesn't occur when I turn to the right.
