You have a EF gen civic, meaning you OBD is at 0 (OBD0) and you'll at least want fuel injected model, if you didn't before. I'd go with the USDM d16z6, these are found in the EG ( gen after yours 92-95) civic Si's. Has one twenty five horse and is OBD-1 which means you'll need a converted wiring harness to convert from OBD-0 to OBD-1. You can get the civic Si's tranny too which is pretty much a short shifter with LSD (hydraulic clutch =]) and the engine is DOHC vtec, which means future modding will be easier as you'll already have duel overhead cams (DOHC) and be Vtec(ed) already. It'll bolt up with the factory motor mounts and with the wiring harness will be plug and play. =] Hope I helped.
If not then you can just throw a d15b OBD0 in that bitch and be happy.
