I know that these are one of the best V6 engines ever made, possibly the best.
My question:
I have a race with a big Cadillac coming up soon that I think will beet me because my Buick, at full throttle, the trans wants to hang in there til just about redline.
The only way I see winning this race is if I can find a way to have the trans shift sooner, giving me more control shifting manually.
Can I get a chip, or have one reprogrammed, specifically to tell the trans to shift sooner?
Or will I need to spend a lot of money and have a shift kit installed?
