Hiya, as the Title says. I don't really think anyone will know about this game. But I just have to find it! I used to play it all the time when I was a kid!
Basically you can choose between various Vehicles and Tracks to drive on. And while you're racing, there will be various Obstacles you have to avoid, or else you'll fall behind and eventually loose...
I remember a few Obstacles in particular:
• Shark coming at you with it's Jaw open as you drive over a Wooden Bridge.
• A Red octopus/crab thing just behind a Jump, waving with it's Tentacles. You had to time where and when you'd jump in order to hit the Tentacles and thus land in the Water(Have to try again).
• Lava/Rock stuff being shot from a Volcano which you have to avoid.
• Well Lids that would shoot up in the air due to too high Water Pressure below(Random).
I know that's very little to provide. Other than that I *believe* that you could buy upgrades for your Cars and such. I also remember you could buy a Map(??)...
The Main Menu was very $-ish.

After a lot of searching, I finally found it!
I found a list over at Gamespot which listed all Games ever made by Eidos Interactive.
Speed Busters: American Highways. That's what I was looking for! ;-)
