'90 Honda Accord stalled in water and now it won't start?

Asked about this and got some good advice, but wanted to add this happened to my 1990 Honda Accord, which was I was driving during a recent rainstorm when it stalled while I was trying to cross water running over the road. The water rose so fast I had to abandon the car and go back to get it once the water receded. By that time the car got washed off the asphalt and was pushed off the road about 20 feet. Got it towed home and let it dry out for a few days. Took the plugs out and there was water inside the engine. Did an oil change with new filter and let it dry out some more. Put the plugs in and now the engine turns over real fast (like when a motor has a blown head gasket). A compression gage read low numbers but the engine has almost 200K miles. I don't know what I should do next - maybe sell the car to the bone yard? Or is there still hope she could run again? Is there a way to check to see if water got into the intake manifold?
