...do? I know they get bored at this age but sometimes it seems there is nothing I can do for her, she is a bad napper but I know she is at that age where they tend to whine a lot what do you do to handle the situation.

I hated that stage when nothing you do manages to amuse your child. I remember my son getting very frustrated at that age as he wanted to do everything himself but just didn't have the skills. He wanted to walk and climb, but couldn't so he would whine out of frustration. Don't know if this is the same with you but he soon grew out of it as his determination soon paid off and he quickly learnt how to do all of the things he wanted. Boredom is the obvious answer, but hopefully as the weather improves you can go outside more, or slowly introduce new toys (even a pan and a wooden spoon would do - don't have to spend any money). good luck

the child is far from bored. she needs more of your attention. hold her, hug her, read to her, sing to her, play with her. encourage nap time by letting her stay in the crib for a good hour. she may need to cry herself to sleep -this is teaching her to self-soothe.

you can always take her to the doctor. Sometimes they prescribe medicine cause the baby cries and whines to much. Maybe she is teething, you can giver her tylenol once a day! She may also be a fussy baby. Make sure everything around her is perfect and just play with her on a rug in the middle of the floor with a few of her favorite toys.
