8gb Apple Ipod touch doesn't charge?

I have an 8gb Ipod touch 2nd gen. it doesn't charge at all! the cable looks fine so does the Itouch and it was charging well yesterday on my xbox 360 for like 3 hours but i was going to plug it in like 5 min. ago and it DOESN'T CHARGE HELP... btw I can't return it because my warranty is void due to the fact that I jailbroke it... please help me!
